This is the Japanese Version of the hit single. Although the song is great, I would have enjoyed it had it come out about a year ago – we are already tired of the beat. update: the video is no longer available

Besides their collaboration with David Guetta on “Just One Last Time”, not much is known about this mysterious Swedish duo. They have released a video teaser for their upcoming single “Shadow of the Sun”, and I must say it sounds absolutely fantastic. We are very excited to hear new things these talented two have to offer. Expect them to blow up in 2013.

We always knew that it would sound better if SiA sang it. We also this Christina Aguilera’s “Blank Page” would have gotten a better treatment had SiA saved it for her own album, which looks like it won’t see the light of day anytime soon. Even, “Kill, Fuck, Marry” would have been saved by SiA had she done her vocal acrobatics on it!

Aside from the lukewarm Lil Wayne rap, this track is marvelous R&B midtempo goodness with a sultry melody and sexy lyrics. The unexpected first single off of Kelly Rowland’s next release surprisingly does not meander into Guetta territory and relies on the beautiful resurgence of contemporary soul music to pack its punch. Finger snaps and all, this track pulls back memories of Destiny’s Child “Soldier” except more sensual and even catchier. If this is what we have to expect from […]

We have always expected the prospect of a greatest hits anthology-type album from Rihanna. Why you ask? Well, she has had enough singles (both hits and misses) to fill a triple disc. With all these rushed albums (did anyone see Talk That Talk coming before 2012?), collaborations, duets and deluxe version tracks, she has enough to pack the punch. In fact, she has more than most people who started out at around her time. If she were to take on such […]

Kelly Rowland’s new album is a hodgepodge of R&B and Dance music – a fine line to walk. That is clearly to satisfy her old fans and her post-David Guetta fans. This one is for the dance heads who only listen to tracks if they have remixed heavily. Keeping in my that Kelly ventured into dance way before Guetta summoned her for a track with “Work,” this is a natural evolution of this strut. A palpable track with a Hi-NRG […]

David Guetta doesn’t tickle our fancy, well at least not with his last few releases. But,he made a good choice by collaborating with Sia, who we are crazy in love with. Her vocals shine through this otherwise lackluster track that neither introduces a new concept to dance music, nor does it sound any different than any other DJ out there. Still, Sia’s presence takes this song to a different level.

We were not sure about the single choice but it grew on us and of course she wants to milk the David Guetta tracks. The cover looks like it is a still from Madonna’s horrid “4 Minutes.”

Paloma Faith has taken David Guetta and Akon‘s awfully chauvinistic collaboration, “Sexy Bitch,” and turned it into a slow-burning ballad titled “Sexy Minx.” It’s much better now. Download it.
