Kelly Rowland’s got a lot of hair these day apparently. It’s fierce. But, what’s not fierce is that she is calling her new album Kelly Rowland. How boring. She should have called it Commanding Grown Woman. This is the new artwork for the second single from the David Guetta produced bonanza!
To compare anything to Michael Jackson’s Thriller is just a recipe for disaster. This new album that Rihanna is rushing out this year allegedly will have it-producer of the moment David Guetta at the buttons and will, apparently, have Thriller as its bar. Oh, David Guetta. The people who like his new stuff are beyond me. But, they are probably the people whose favorite songs correspond with what’s atop the charts. This intro riff is taken from “I Got A Feeling” and to re-instate the BEP sentiment we get Fergie on the track. And then there’s the little loop bit that’s just out there and not going anywhere really. So sad.

Here Lies Love, which is the statement the former Filipina first lady wants engraved onto her tombstone, is diverse musical affair. It contains those two powers houses plus guest appearances by Tori Amos, Santigold, SiA, Cyndi Lauper, Alice Russell, Natalie Merchant and more. The album has leaked across the internet an it contains some really good beats.
Nneka is really climbing up. She landed this live performance on the David Letterman show and performed the song that made us fall n love with her. Her international album Concrete Jungle is being promoted heavily with a “single of the week” on iTunes.
Mary J. Blige is not Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston. We knew that.

Nicki Minaj is as big as anyone can get without releasing a single single, if you know what we mean. She’s recording with everyone from MC to Robin Thicke to Cassie. Let’s hope her music can hold up to her image. This song is tired, though. Does Robin Thicke look like a friend of dorothy’s in this clip or what?
The loft rarely features cheesy blah music, but, this is the cheesiest we will go this side of the Cheeky Girls. Yes, Jedward have redone an classic with the guy that originally stole it. Hilarity ensues.
We really haven’t paid much attention to Friends since High School. We fell out of it once it got a little redundant and as we grew older the humor felt forced. In fact, since Will & Grace, we haven’t found American humor funny at all. At any rate, this picture is circulating in e-mail forward format of the former male actors of the show and how they’ve grown. Wow, Matt LeBlanc really jumped the shark fast.
Tori Amos is back to making music, even if she released two full-length albums in 2009 – Abnormally Attracted To Sin and Midwinter Graces. Now, she is still writing but for a new and different project that she calls one of the hardest things she’s had to do. She is doing a full-fledged musical to debut sometime 2011. Yes, one of our all-time favorites is making a musical and we can’t wait to go to the theater for it. Let’s hope she will have a starring spot, although it’s doubtful. Oh, and the wig’s no longer on. Bummed when the news that Lady GaGa was going to release her duet with Beyonce “Telephone” as the second single? Well, you don’t have to be sad because the GaGa is also doing a a video for one of the best tracks on The Fame Monster - “Alejandro.” Not only that but she has also asked Little Britain‘s David Walliams to star in the video along with his partner Dutch supermodel Lara Stone.
