She said she wouldn’t do it, but Dannii Minogue is ready to dish the dirt on her life in a tell-all autobiography. Dannii Minogue is expecting a child with boyfriend Kris Smith and said that this project is timely because having her child will be a close to a chapter in her life. Interesting. Let’s hope there’s some Kylie dish in there.

We originally saw this picture from the leaked Fame Monster sessions, so there’s nothing new but a bunch of typeface. It’s still striking a while after. Our real problem with this is that there are so many great songs on the album (“Speechless,” “Alejandro” and “Monster”). But, she is rushing this release probably because Beyonce wants to go on her hiatus or something. At any rate, the video’ll be fabulous.
We have to admit that out of the entire British pop female explosion that follow after Amy Winehouse’s ubiquitous Back To Black, Duffy is our least favorite (not taking Lady Sovereign into consideration of course). That is due to the fact that her album didn’t really stick with is and it felt redundant after several other releases at that time. “Mercy” is exceptional, though. At any rate, Duffy’s in New York now conjuring up the new disc after Rockferry which sold approximately a million copies. She enlisted Albert Hammond Senior, who is the father of The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Junior, and hip hop drummer ?uestlove. The album’s set to come out later this year.
Tori Amos is back to making music, even if she released two full-length albums in 2009 – Abnormally Attracted To Sin and Midwinter Graces. Now, she is still writing but for a new and different project that she calls one of the hardest things she’s had to do. She is doing a full-fledged musical to debut sometime 2011. Yes, one of our all-time favorites is making a musical and we can’t wait to go to the theater for it. Let’s hope she will have a starring spot, although it’s doubtful. Oh, and the wig’s no longer on. This has been a pretty good day for us as Google’s Blogsearch has featured our blog in it’s entertainment section 3 times for 3 different posts in one day. This means that the site is very well wired to the web and that Google’s search engine thinks that we are a pretty reliable and current blog. Also, Wikipedia used us as a reference for their page on Rihanna’s new single! Good days. Keep it coming!
Country singer and hiatus princess Shania Twain is doing some charity work that entails interviewing Queen Rania of Jordan for a show called The Current on Canada’s CBC. The show will air from Toronto and will include this sit-down with the Queen of Jordan. Also after carrying the Olympic torch, Shania Twain is going to be a guest judge on American Idol. Yes, a whole lotta things but not a new album. The last full-length album Shania release was Up! which is almost a decade old now.
According to Yahoo Music News UK, Madonna has allegedly picked two producers to work with on her next album, which will be her first disc on the Live Nation contract. The icon is rumored to have picked A-Trak, who previously collaborated with Kanye West and Armand Van Helden. Also, another producer that she is allegedly working with is Brendan O’Brien, who is known for his work with Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and is currently working with Aerosmith according to Wikipedia. The first producer is right up her alley, but the second one, we are not too sure about. Unless she is going for a rock album, which is not a far stretch for the queen of “re-invention” (aka regurgitation). But, maybe she’s looking for solid well-written tunes as she has been lacking some of those lately. At any rate, we’re ready for the next phase as the last one was tepid.
We were rummaging through Twitter only to find a little icon of one of the greatest songwriters to grace the pop earth, George Michael has a n account and no one knows about it. Well, 11,000 know about it, but these are not George Michael numbers. Probably because he is not whoring his account out like Tila Tequila or forever tweeting loud and pretentious stuff like Diddy. But, in either case he is bigger than both. Combined. So, go over there and follow a legend.
Lady GaGa does not just release a deluxe album like everyone else and doesn’t put some fabulousness in it. She is preparing a surprise for all those die-hard gaga-heads. The booklet will contain a myriad of things all in the photo above. Some 3D glasses for the images and a bunch of fun tracks, one of which includes Beyonce!
Nicolas Jonas had a solo career before he hit the big time with his album Nicholas Jonas. However, he is set to take on another project without the other Jonas Brothers. Apparently, he is doing the whole thing under cover before they go on tour. The album should surface sometime early 2010.
