What a beautiful voice that reminds us to that of Diane Birch. We look forward to listening more to her album Wasted In Jackson.

Diane Birch releases covers EP
1We discovered Diane Birch serendipitously and fell in love with her. So, when we heard she was to release a covers album of some 80s and 90s classics, we were ready to jump on it. It’s downloading as of now on iTunes, so there will be no review for now, but we are sure it will be lovely.

2We don’t how this slipped under our radar (radar, radar, radar), but it’s on of the good songs on Diane Birch‘s Bible Belt.

2Diane Birch’s album Bible Belt is on heavy-rotation at the Loft965.com office (whatever couch I am crashing on). It’s pure Motown slick and has quite the right amount of yule instrumentation without being a christian or christmasy. This is one of the best tracks on their, but the album is really all a treat. And there’s a song on their about a lost soulmate named “Ariel.” I mean, how biographical is that?
