Introducing… Leila Arab
1Leila has already released three albums, a trilogy if you will. In 2009 she started to write a body of work that felt different. Maybe it was being sober, but this one seemed to be about being more direct. Leila first met Mt. Sims at a fancy dress party way back in 2006. Leila went as Leila. Mt. Sims dressed as a Computer Processing Unit fashioned from a cardboard box with strategically placed slits. She had admired his music since his work on Gigolo Records, she was most happy when he introduced himself and said he was a fan.
Emeli Sandé’s debut album “Our Version Of Events” has leaked!
One of the most anticipated releases from 2012′s rising star, Emeli Sande, has leaked onto the internet a few days before its official release date. The highly-touted new singer, who is going to join the ranks of Adele, Florence + The Machine and (Ekh) Jessie J by getting the Brit newcomer award, is ready for us to digest. Our Version Of Events is on multiple download sites, which you will have to find by yourself.
Video Premiere: “Speak Out Now” by Oh Land
This track is not from the last album. We are not too sure where it came from, but its not strong enough to be a single in our humble opinion.
Jazmine Sullivan working on new album!
She threatened us with rumors of leaving the music biz. Her last album didn’t do so well, but she is working on a new record and this is the confirmation:
Btw… I'M WORKING ON MY NEW ALBUM!!!—

First Listen: “It Belongs To Me” by Monica & Brandy
Lianne La Havas does acoustic version of “Forget”
This song is just amazing.
Watch Madonna’s entire Superbowl performance!
Madonna’s gone and done one of the biggest performances of her life. We are busy at work, so we can’t watch it, but we will definitely tell you what we think once we get around to it. Pom poms, however, are always a plus.
Ingrid Michaelson performs “This Is War” live in Seattle, WA!
Bjork performs “Cosmogony” on the Steven Colbert Show
Sugababes talk about everything except the original band!
Did anyone teach Amelle not use derogatory terms?
Video Premiere: “Club Lights” by Rachel Adedji
P!nk wishes Ellen Degeneres a happy birthday!
We need a Pink album now!
First Listen: “You” by Kate Havnevik
1Video Premiere: “Keep It Between Us” by Kelly Rowland
1Is it just us or are the Kelly Rowland singles popping up real fast? Not that we paid much attention to the album, but we can remember at least 4 other singles off the top of our many heads. Anyway, enjoy.
Obama sings Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together!”
We are still in love with him. Let’s hope the incumbency continues its reign.
