Sexy Track: “Where Have U Been” by Rihanna

3

When it comes to singles Rihanna is on a roll. So much so that her single sell and chart better than her albums. Her record company knows the real draw and she is not about to miss out on another number one. This here is another big dance number that will most probably be a single off of her new album Talk That Talk. Actually, this will most definitely be a single. It is meant to get you up on the dance floor singing for decades to comes. The beat is infectious and trendy (both in the good and bad senses.) The lyrics are crying for someone to sing along to them with a yearning attitude post-a couple of drinks at a straight club. Watch this be the summer stomper of 2012 from Mykonos to Miami.

Video Premiere: “Only Girl (In The World)” by Rihanna

The direction Rihanna is taking on this album, LOUD, is the right one unlike her mishap Rated R. We are glad she is back on track a playing more with some dance beats. Let’s hope the album has more hot numbers.  Continue reading

Must-Watch: Video Premiere: “Alejandro” by Lady Gaga

The long-awaited third single’s video from The Fame Monster is finally here after a couple of delays and it’s worth the wait. Gaga puts her best effort in her favorite track from the album, but to us it still sounds a little too close to Ace Of Base’s cover of “Don’t Turn Around.” The video touches on everything that needs to be tampered with in order to make it a pop classic: the sacriligious, the gender bending, thematic mysticism, homoeroticism, opulently sexual dance moves, film-goth enigma and so much skin! Just pure joy.

Premiere: Video: “So Light Is Her Footfall” by Air

Dynamic duo Air have released their second single from the album Love 2. It’s “So Light Is Her Footfall.” The song is a standout track from their luscious ambient pop album and it’s a great continuation from “Sing Sang Sung.” There are other gems on there of course and we hope they make videos for a bunch before they move on to the next project.

Alphabeat’s second single is “DJ”

Alphabeat’s second album The Spell has leaked. The album is lush with early dance beats in tribute to 90s’ house music and just general fun. News is out that the next single from the aforementioned album is DJ. It’s a fun sing-along kind of track, which has the potential to be nicely remixed. We can’t wait for the video and the sleeve.
