Is this a concert to catch or what!! Having already sold-out her own headline show at the Tabernacle on 4th March in just 2 days, Laura Mvula announces that she will be joining Jessie Ware on her national tour.
In a week that will also see Laura release her highly anticipated debut album, ‘Sing To The Moon’(released 4th March), this will be the first time that Laura has toured regionally. Laura has also been confirmed to play the main stage at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival on Saturday 15th June.
Since announcing the release of her debut EP ‘She’ back in November, Laura has been picking up critical acclaim and support from some of the biggest tastemakers out there.
The video for Laura’s new single ‘Green Garden’, which is due to be released 24th February, has already reached over 158k views on VEVO after going live only a week ago.
Described as “The voice of 2013” by The Evening Standard, the classically trained, singer-songwriter’s music fuses orchestral soul with velvety harmonies and emotional vocals giving nods to Nina Simone, George Gershwin and Björk amongst others.

New single ‘Green Garden’ taken from the debut album ‘Sing to the Moon’, is an uplifting track which infuses Laura’s signature use of percussive chimes painted with enchanting harmonies – a unique sound that has wowed critics helping to make her one of names everyones lips in 2013.
Burger Girl is the musical project around the work of Benjamin Dukhan.Benjamin is a dancer and performer, with experience on the creative experimental circuit through shows organized in apartments and art galleries.
Since 2009, his impressive beard and his magnetic presence have made him model on catwalks and magazines. A regular favourite of Jean-Paul Gaultier, he has also worked with Yoji Yamamoto and many emerging designers and photographers.
In 2010 Benjamin created his alter ego Burger Girl, and its “electro-bitch” universe where sex and blood mingle with romanticism and spirituality. Faithful to his roots as a visual performer, The Burger Girl shoots videos for every song with elements of dance, shockers and fashion.
