Moby to release remix album of “Wait For Me”
Moby independent success on his highly acclaimed album Wait For Me has yet to spring some fruits upon us. The album’s run is not over yet as Moby’s camp has announced that the album is getting the remix treatment along with an alleged single of “Wait For You,” probably remixed. We can’t wait for it as it will bring on the chill-out moods more with some staccato.
Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson to star in the same Tyler Perry movie together!
News just in! Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson are going to star in the newest Tyler Perry movie For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf. Wow, what a title and what a cast. It will also include Whoopi Goldberg, Phylicia Rashad, Jurnee Smollett, Kimberley Elise, Kerry Washington and Loretta Devine. The cast will also include Macy Gray, which is awkward, because Macy has publically made fun of Mariah before and said she wants to slap her. The movie will probably be a motivational tribute to the endearment of women of color. This is so exciting, it will only be greater news if the two divas get to making the duet that we’ve always dreamed of even if we don’t know how in the world they will equalize both singers’ voices to fit on the same track. One is big, whistle-register loud and the other is sexy squeaky. But, all-in-all, good news!

3Nicki Minaj is as big as anyone can get without releasing a single single, if you know what we mean. She’s recording with everyone from MC to Robin Thicke to Cassie. Let’s hope her music can hold up to her image. This song is tired, though. Does Robin Thicke look like a friend of dorothy’s in this clip or what?

We wanted to post this earlier, but we were looking for secular charities to post so we had to do some looking around. The catastrophe that the island of Hispaniola has suffered it’s not a small one and the great tragedy has not passed, people need relief and aid at this time in order to survive or the country will delve into a civil war or massive unrest. At any rate, we went ahead a compiled a list of secular charities that might help out without discriminating.

1Daisy Dares You is a new singer with a song of the same title. The British singer is great fusion between Girls Aloud and Republica. Her voice is unique and her looks are a bit porcelain doll. Florence + The Machine noticed the great appraisal of their cover version track of Candi Staton’s ode to overcoming obesity, “You’ve Got The Love,” and are now releasing it as a single. Just when Joss Stone released a version of the same song, which does not come even close to this one. It’s one of the best songs of the year and a highlight on their debut Lungs.

Everybody is doing it, so why shouldn’t Rihanna. The market must be full of these products, but, somehow, there is demand out there. She said she want to create a fragrance that “no man can resist” and insists she has. She is in te middle of promoting her album Rated R so expect this to come after. The scent should be here sometime early 2010. Meanwhile, that frock is fantastical!

1Calvin Harris is on a roll! His album is surprisingly better than his debut. And, like anyone that’s truly passionate about music, he is commemorating the 1990s’. “Flashback” sounds like a good old 90s’ dance number with current technology. Don’t mind the I’m-in-Cannes video, the song is actually quite good. Ready For The Weekend is truly ready for the weekend.

The fragrances keep coming and coming.We had heard that her scents are actually quite nice, but never got around to smelling them. We are too busy looking for Forever. Still, it’d be nice if she put the perfumes on the back-burner and started readying up that long-awaited pop album of hers.
