From The BBC:
Israel has carried out an air attack in Gaza and sent tanks into the Strip, after Palestinian militants killed an Israeli soldier.

Wow, how nice of them!

It’s at 947 now. Two-thirds are civilians. The West is not doing anything and the East is quiet. This has got to stop. Israel knows very well that this culture of aggression will breed more violence, but they like crying “terrorist” whenever half a missile is dropped on them to get sympathy for their horrid cause. Treat humans humanely and then you might have good negotiations. What an atrocity!

“History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.”
- Martin Luther King, Jr.
I love her.

I read this good article on Truthdig.com about the West’s indifference to the Palestinian cause. It struck a chord. The death toll now over 600 and the wounded are over 3000. It’s one thing to strike because you are an occupied territory without freedoms and have dire standards of living, it’s another to struck to showcase your muscle-power. Both crimes, but they are not equal.
The weight of the world is on his soldiers. But, still, he needs to come up with something more if he wants to win over the humanitarians.
Death toll: 438
Injuries: 2280
Days of attack: 8
