Watch Madonna’s entire Superbowl performance!

Madonna’s gone and done one of the biggest performances of her life. We are busy at work, so we can’t watch it, but we will definitely tell you what we think once we get around to it. Pom poms, however, are always a plus.

Sexy Track: “So In Love” by Jill Scott featuring Anthony Hamilton

1

What can we say about Jill Scott that hasn’t been said before. She brings it back to the basics of love and true emotion. On this track, she turns a relationship in its prime into an ode for love’s surrender so effortlessly and smoothly. Her vocals merge with the melody perfectly. She is probably the only artist alive today that can go into spoken word in the middle of a song and sound so hot. This track chantes on the line between sex and love. It’s definitely one of the best tracks of 2011.

Lady GaGa’s new album “The Fame Monster” has leaked!

fame_monster2o

First Rihanna’s Rated R and now GaGa’s The Fame Monster. It’s turning out to be a good week in pop. Lady GaGa’s formerly deluxe edition turned full-blown album has gotten the leak and is now circulating the internet like wild fire. Yes, everyone wants some “Bad Romance.” Click here for more information.

East some shit…

I would definitely go there to check it out. The concept is new and fresh and the food looks succulent. I love how she says “Our lamp is poo-poo” and “Our mascot os poo-poo!” Modern Toilet has 12 branches, so it must be successful. Who would have thought of that concept. Only in the far east does something so animated get credibility. One the other side of the world everyone dying to achieve authenticity and if it doesn’t look authentic then the price is the reason people go (Yo! Sushi).

Pretty little song from Nerina Pallot’s new album

5

Mainstream folkstress and heart-ache chanteuse Nerina Pallot has finished her third album, which will be called The Graduate. It’s slated for an October release just in time for the autumn sorrow. This song will be included in the line-up and it’s called “It Starts.” She is quirkier than we thought. From what we heard, this sounds like her best work yet.

The peacock chair has been invented

peacock-chair-front

Some fresh designer by the name of Dror Benshetrit has decided to ditch conventional materials and start using felt as a replacement to cotton or whatever your sofa has in it. The result is this – the peacock chair. A chair invented to comfort and to dazzle. And if you get it early, it could be a conversational piece, too. It molds and shifts to fit your contours while still looking like the modern masterpiece that it is.

Noah lands on the pop world

1

As mentioned, Noah is one of the most promising artists of the year. With his brand of pop-conscious electro and dazzling visuals, he is bound to make some waves. If not on MTV and radio, then around the blogosphere. This has yet to happen. But, it will when he releases a video. This is just a teaser of what is to come, even if it looks like a cologne commercial.

Mariah’s new fragrance called “Forever”

1

bottle-n_cartonJust when you thought it was over, she pops out another one. Following the great reception for the marshmallow smelling M and the summery Luscious Pink, Mariah Carey decided to release Forever just in time for the album promotion, to kill two birds in one stone. The title might be cheesy but it’s a reference to her old song of the same name from Daydream. This time around its smells of  ”An opulent floral with notes of Tuberose and Gardenia”

Susan Boyle does another performance

1

This time the hopeful opted for a song from Cats (titled “Memories”) and she did well as everyone anticipated. She walked in looking fierce if not a little angry and for all of those people talking about a make-over, I don’t see that much of a change. And, being a pop fan I don’t know how much I can relate to her broadway-ness. She seems more confident this time and hopefully she will continue her winning streak. She will: this story is rated “volcanic” on google search engines. Everybody is looking for the video to watch what she will do next. It seems like Simon Cowell has found his newest cash cow, now that Leona Lewis is on hiatus.

Must-Watch: Video: “The Girl And The Robot” by Röyksopp featuring Robyn

1

This is only one of the best songs of 2009 and it just gets to video treatment. It’s just lush fun with great visual elements. I like Robyn’s haircut and the fact that she doesn’t start singing with the lyrics. The diffrents light on the bed are mesmerizing and the robot is sexual. And the pregnancy thing is just the cherry on the top. Yeah, I like it.

Kuwait elects 4 women to parliament

2

Don’t mind the late-news headline, but I couldn’t resist the “News Of The Day” aura. So, yes Kuwait finally did it. The people of Kuwait broke another barrier in the on-going war on sexism and discrimination. And when it rains, it pours. Not one, but four. One of which was the first in her district and another the second. It’s hardly a liberal uprising and, to tell you the truth, some of them could might as well pass for the piety bloc. But, complaining is so 2000 and late.
