By her own hair they mean her own wig (the same one she clipped and gave out to fans for the deluxe edition apparently). But, wow! This woman never ceases to amaze and she will go to any length to grab attention. We love her, as does the world (except extremists and the Westboro Baptist Church, of course). If she doesn’t win a Grammy, the awards show will jump the shark. Yeah, she’s that important! (Thanks Lynan).

Is this a sign of a new album? Brandy Norwood debuted her new shortened and very mommy look on Twitter today via Twitpic. It doesn’t look so good. But, maybe she has something up her sleeve with such a drastic makeover. She looks like her nemesis Monica now.
There have been two tracks leaked recently and she has a new record label. So, a new album might come up from her very soon. We hope so, at least.
She’s crazy for the sake of crazy. Nonetheless, she is all kinds of fabulousness rolled into one person. Lady GaGa is the last pop star of our time. With the dying of the record industry things will change drastically. The wave of pop that GaGa is ushering in will cross borders and will channel the future instead of the past. She believes in fashion and music and art and what a beautiful combination that is. And she said it: “As long as it’s gay it’s good.”
This is one documentary that we are bracing to watch. “Good Hair” is a film that challenges the notion of the racial implications of what hair should look like. This has gone on for years on end during and after slavery. It’s a residue of racism that has managed to cling-on while skin color precepts have been at the forefront of racial tensions. Hair is a human feature that has not gotten the same treatment as skin color in a racial context. Now, it not only serves as a benchmark for how far we have gone, but also an indicator of how much more we have to work on to dispel racial myths.

Out of the many ludicrous things I have heard in my life as a pop fan and follower this has to be up there. To my recollection Sandi Thom has had: 2 albums, 5 singles and a tour or two. Of those singles, she has had one top spot holder – “I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair)” – and the rest didn’t even make the top 20 UK singles chart. That is not to say that “The Devil’s Beat” or “What If I’m Right?” didn’t have redeemable qualities. But, a greatest hits collection. That’s like the prematurest of musical abortions.
How do you like the new look. All Lady GaGa has to do to dodge the paparazzi is used some make-up remover. Enough with that song already. Something tells me we won’t be seeing new material from her in a long time.

Beyoncé, who is known in the music industry for always being nice or at least trying, just trash talked a whole family of celebrities. And not any family, the Royal Family Of Pop – The Jackson.
