We have been waiting for this for so long. Sheryl Crow’s back with a great summer offering, we feeling like this album, 100 Miles From Memphis, will be a great marriage between Detours and C’Mon C’Mon. This is just a little breezy ditty that changes our summer days. Yes, we are Sherylphiles!

Okay, everyone is talking about this and the truth of the matter was Harry Connick Jr’s performance on the show was better than hers. She needs to get rid of the new romantics meets Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” performance style. It really didn’t do justice to the song. She could have done something different. I mean it would be cute if Lady Gaga came out in a horrid-style American prom dress and sand a song alone in front of a mic. That would get headlines!

Let the Lady Gaga comparisons begin! Yes, this is the highly anticipated video of the new Christina Aguilera single “Not Myself Tonight” from her fourth album Bionic. She is trying to pull out the fierce in this and she is doing it well. Random lesbianism is always welcome, but it looks like a modern “Dirrty.” Nothing new there. The crystal-encrusted mouth-ball is the shiz and we are loving the BDSM theme. Everything is right in the video except the product placement of her perfume. Too bad the song is utter crap.

We can’t get this song out of heads. Seriously, at this pace it’s looking like it’ll top our chart next week. It’s a lovely little summer folk tunes that makes us want to get another sunburn. They are on the right track and hopefully the rest of the album is in keeping with the island theme. Just pure loveliness.

Who knew that Mariah can do the proletariat so well. And a bad hair day, too. This song has the potential to be #1 in the US and in the US only. It sounds good, her vocals are impeccable and radio is just going to eat it up. Also, I heard that it would count as a #1 for her and not just The-Dream. So, yay.
