Kelis confirms “Scream” as third single

In a move to boost the measly sales of her great album Fleshtone, Kelis left of a myriad of great songs like “22nd Century” and “Brave” for the less exciting Guetta-produced “Scream,” which sounds like a trance reject in its heyday. Let’s hope we see a fourth single and this video is not done in yet another desert.

Premiere: Video: “Paradise Circus” by Massive Attack

Just when we thought that we didn’t like the direction Massive Attack were taking, this song comes out. “Paradise Circus” is great turn back to trip-hop with a guest spot from Mazzy Star vocalist Hope Sandoval. The video’s also better. It is an interview with a former porn star inter-spliced with scenes of her fuck flicks. Georgina Spelvin is the pornstar, famous for her controversial film The Devil In Miss Jones. It’s quite an intriguing video, to say the least, and a great one at giving a stark look at a life.

Some bad news we have for you this Christmas eve. Alicia Keys’ streak of top spot albums has been broken by none other then Susan Boyle’s album of covers. Yes, one of the fads of the decade stopped one of the greatest of the decade from getting her top spot. Seriously, who goes out in hopes of getting a copy of a Susan Boyle record. We didn’t think she was that good and it only got so much hype because unexpected of her to nail a song. The sensation is really the people’s making. The Element of Freedom will go down in history, what does Boyle have to offer?
