50 Words For Snow is on our desks, yet it’s so hard to digest when it has 13-minute tracks on there. Although we are avid fans for Kate Bush, we had hope for much more vocals and less spoken word. But, “Wild Man” is definitely the highlight of this 7-track album. Doesn’t that make it an EP?

First Listen: “Wild Man” by Kate Bush
6Kate Bush has decided to unleash another album after a 6 year hiatus. “Wild Man” is supposed to be released soon and is the first single from the album 50 Words For Snow, which features Elton John and Stephen Fry. The album sounds like a return to her roots on a different direction than Aerial. We are liking it. Click below to listen to it.
First Listen: “Love After War” by Robin Thicke
1Soul master Robin Thicke is back with a great great song. It’s from his new album with the same title. “Love After War is a scintillating sexy number with every component of a strong soul number. This could be one of the best tracks of the year! Click below to listen to it.
Haiku Review: “Let It Break” by Gemma Hayes
3Kate Bush to release new album in 2011!
5According to a blog we love, Kate Bush is readying up a release that will be the successor to her album Aerial, which was widely believed to be her ticket to retirement in her island home in the Thames River. This is very exciting news as we were not expecting anything from the Queen of quirk. It will probably top the year-end lists!

“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.”
Legendary: “Stranger In Moscow (Live)” by Michael Jackson
Pure love.
Video Premiere: “Look Me In The Eye Sister” by Groove Armada
Everyone thought that “History” was going to be the new single from Groove Armada’s new album Black Light, mainly because they did it on a couple of shows. It’s a great tune, so they are probably keeping it for later.
Will Young sings his collaboration with Groove Armada live!
Thanks again Z. This track is a definite grower and a solid electro-dark number. It’s called “History” from Groove Armada’s Black Light and the sexy Will Young is on it.
Groove Armada collaborate with Will Young
2Can we just tell you how much we love it when Will Young goes into falsetto all of a sudden. This is what is happening on this sexilicious track. Yet another scrumptious effort from the return of Groove Armada. Black Light seems to a be a promising album.
Massimo Tartaglia assaults Berlusconi
This happened in Milan a little while ago while Italy’s Prime minister Berusconi was meeting and greeting his supporters. We never condone violence of any sorts, but, just as the shoe throwing incident with George W. Bush brought a certain amount of sweet justice, this one does too. Berlusconi has been known for his chauvinistic jokes, his strong anti-human rights stances, his racist comments (once directed at Obama) and his sense of supriority over the Arab world. He is also in love with Bush. A leader of the “center-right” in Italy who also happens to be embroiled in endless sex scandals and alleged ties with the mafia. Pn top of all that, he has a strong hold on the media that has given Italy low rating in the Freedom Houses indexes. We don’t sympathize with him at all, but we remain with our pacifist beliefs, even if the damage he has done to lives is way much more than two broken teeth and a fractured nose.

Fergie Ferg’s lesbian and/or bisexual past
News has surfaced of Fergie’s bisexual past. This comes right after the accusation of her hubby partying it up with a stripper who happened to do that radio rounds to get her story across. Fergie didn’t deny her bisexual past and lesbian love stories. She said that this story is 5 years too old and that she has no shame in her game for the dames. Okay, that was lame. At any rate, we’re blogging from the bathroom and too lazy to rectify. Boo!
Everyone: Go Green Now
1Just when we thought that the protests were getting calm, we hear of mass detainees and solitary confinement and some deaths. This revolution is not a bump in the road and no matter how many times the oppressors oppress they still won’t be able to maintain their position. The people of Iran have spoken. This time around Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and blogs. These are the weapons of the Iranian people. And no matter how strong the oppressor’s weapon’s are, nothing is stronger and more effective than a keyboard.
Go green on your blogs, your daily wear and pictures in support of liberty and justice.

What a lovely little advertisement. It seems that the world still can’t escape the shackles of the Reagan administration. Hopefully people will get wise and stop outlawing a plant.

1Michelle Obama’s slave roots…
From Seattle Times:
“A historical line can be drawn from South Carolina’s Low Country cabins to Michelle Obama, charting an American family’s improbable journey through slavery, segregation, the civil-rights movement and a historic presidential election.”

1There’s a whole bunch of historic movies coming out and although I am not a big movie buff, I am a big history buff. I am Buffy the history slayer or, er… something. Anyway, I am excited for this a lot and I hope to catch every single subtitle.
