Charlotte Church working on album, puts done previous one

“Charlotte appeared on ‘Friday Night With Jonathan Ross’ on 13th March 2010, where she confirmed that she had already begun writing and recording her sixth studio album. Church also stated that the album was of a different sound to previous, more mature with a ‘kooky’ vibe.”

“Charlotte Church is convinced her forthcoming album is “a hell of a lot better” than her debut pop record – because she was “so little” when she recorded Tissues And Issues.

The Welsh singer was aged just 19 when she released the 2005 album, which peaked at number five in the charts.

She’s now hard at work on her next studio release – and is confident her songwriting ability has improved immensely in the last five years.

Church tells the Guardian newspaper, “I’ve been songwriting a lot recently, because I had stuff to say and because there’s a little part of me that wants to be a poet, but also because nobody really writes songs for my range.

“When I listen back to Tissues and Issues, that was kind of my first try at writing, and I think ahhh! So little! I might think that of this album in 10 years’ time. But I don’t think so. I think it’s a hell of a lot better.”"

We don’t know what she is talking about. Tissues And Issues was great!

Saturdays sing acoustic version of “Issues”

We can’t seem to find a song on Wordshaker that has the oomph that some of the old tracks have. Even the lead single “Forever Is Over” starts strong and then just sounds like “When Love Takes Over” by David Guetta featuring Kelly Rowland. At any rate, this is a great old number.

Time to legalize marijuana

1

Are we still fighting over this. It’s about time everyone got over their little conservative panties and legalized it. It’s just a grass, who came up with the idea of outlawing a plant? The whole argument is old and tired and the statistics and scientific research show that a cigarette is more of a harm than the components of marijuana. People are still getting some jail time for a blunt. Get over it, it’s been around for centuries and will stay around no matter how the moral landscape shifts.

The View clashes over Sarah Palin

2

I am just laying back watching all the conservatives, whether here or there, squirm at this new progressive world. Why are we still talking about human rights violators like Sarah Palin. Elisabeth Hasselbeck claims that she was a great governor of the state of Alaska? Really, then why is Alaska the most corrupt state in the US? Why is she still whining. Stop being a media hag and go hunt a moose. People talk of her daughter’s pregnancy because she rambles on about conservative values and this came as a shock to all. Maybe, it’s freezing there now and she needs to warm things up.

Girls Aloud continue reign as pop princesses…

1

girlsaloudlovingkindmultibuyGirls Aloud barely held on to their top-10 singles (“sengles” according to Nadine) with “The Loving Kind” by landing on the #10 spot. It’s their 18th top-10 hit in the UK. Meanwhile, the Saturdays climb to #4 surprisingly. Anyway, the single was lackluster and they had many other choices. I think back in their head they thought that it’s be a sequel to “Call The Shots,” but it is far from it. I hope the next one is a wise choice.
