Why not the real queen of pop? “Mattel has become a part of the Rhythm Nation! The Barbie brand has partnered with Janet Jackson (Miss Jackson, if you’re nasty) to produce a limited-edition Janet Jackson Barbie doll to be auctioned for charity via charitybuzz.com. The auction ends December 15th. This toy IS pricey at 15K, but who’s to say a major major Janet fan won’t think that’s a fair price for the chance to “fall in love with [Janet] again,” albeit this time in a plastic iteration? The Janet Jackson Barbie even by a certificate of authenticity and a display case for showcasing your Janet adoration — because that’s the way love goes.

Austin Brown, nephew of Michael Jackson was born on 22 Nov 1985 in West Lake Los Angeles. Brown’s mother introduced him to music, Michael Jackson also was his music teacher. He was silently working on his music and never came in limelight .At the age of 4 at MJ’s Bad World Tour he was able to go on stage with Michael and that’s when he realized that he is born to perform on stage with great talent. His new single “Target Practice” along with an album 85 is suppose to come out later this year.

Wow, just when we thought the remake of REM’s “Everybody Hurts” was huge this comes along.

The new recording features production by popular producers RedOne and Will.i.am. It has also just been confirmed that Janet Jackson will be recording her brother Michael’s lines from the song. Oscar-winning filmmaker Paul Haggis directed the music video of the session.

Ok, so it was a little less than 8 minutes. But, she tried her best with the time she has even if her wardrobe is really boring. A malfunction would have shaken things up. But, she crammed some hits along with the new single “Make Me,” which sounds lackluster in between all the greats. How sad is it that Jermaine Jackson doesn’t even know the lyrics to one of his sisters biggest hits “Together Again.” She rocked it, but she could’ve rocked it better.

I adore it and I am glad one of the greatest pop artists on earth is not letting anyone hinder her impact on music and culture. Loving every minute of the shoot and we hope to see more of the pictures circulating.

I don’t know how I missed that one. It is one of my favorite tracks on my top 5 albums of 2008. Detours is easily up there with SiA’s Some People Have Real Problems, Adele’s 19, Ani DiFranco’s Red Letter Year and Alanis Morissette’s Flavors Of Entanglement. Madonna’s Hard Candy nor Janet Jackson’s Discipline made it. The word is still out on Mariah’s E=MC². Isn’t it weird that the year everybody released an album, there are only a few good ones?

What is happening to Janet Jackson. She has cancelled a bunch of shows and nobody knows why. Some say she is sick and others claim her tour is flopping. In any case, the tour was one of her best and the album flopped because of poor marketing. I mean, “Rock With You” was one of the greatest songs of this year and “Feedback” was a hit. Her record company refused to promote anymore singles and everything fell apart. I hope she is ok.
