Video Premiere: “Wild Man” by Kate Bush
150 Words For Snow is on our desks, yet it’s so hard to digest when it has 13-minute tracks on there. Although we are avid fans for Kate Bush, we had hope for much more vocals and less spoken word. But, “Wild Man” is definitely the highlight of this 7-track album. Doesn’t that make it an EP?

Introducing… Guðrið Hansdóttir
1Way out in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, between Iceland and Scotland, is a cluster of 18 small islands called the Faroe Islands. Thats where Gudrid Hansdóttir was born and raised. Her music is a Lilith Fair-worthy blend of chamber pop and perky folk-rock and the past years she´s been performing in Europe and USA.
Gudrid started singing at an early age and shared a high interest in Music. She loved going through her fathers vinyl records and she discovered great artists like Kate Bush, Dolly Parton, Jethro Tull and Jimi Hendrix. Her father was a highly skilled guitar player on the Faroes and on Gudrid´s 14 year old birthday he taught her a couple of guitar chords and she started writing songs of her own.
Girls Aloud are officially getting back together in 2012!
2The best girl band we have right now, Girls Aloud, have confirmed via their publicist that they have plans to get back together in 2012. There is no word of an album yet, but they will definitely have a couple of tour dates. Let’s just wish and hope that Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Sarah Harding decide to make a couple of tracks for our audible pleasure.

1Kate Bush to release new album in 2011!
5According to a blog we love, Kate Bush is readying up a release that will be the successor to her album Aerial, which was widely believed to be her ticket to retirement in her island home in the Thames River. This is very exciting news as we were not expecting anything from the Queen of quirk. It will probably top the year-end lists!
Premiere: Video: “Don’t Give Up” by Nathan Ferraro and Lady GaGa
This song is just OK. It shows that GaGa made it way before she became what she is today, merely from the hairdo. I prefer the Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel version much better. Click below to watch it.
