Kate Nash talks about her new album My Best Friend Is You, which recently got a 2 star rating from Q magazine. But, Q is filled with music heterosnobs. So, it doesn’t matter.
Kate Nash is doing her promo tour and signing some CD’s here and there. She’s back to the top, baby, and there’s no turning back.
The album’s growing and growing and growing on us, bitches.
Kate Nash’s album has already leaked, although it’s coming out this Monday, but she’s not letting this little slip stop her. She’s going all out with a deluxe version of the album that will contain a 40 page scrapbook, the full album and a DVD. Click below for the press release.
Originally thought to be this one, now we get a better one!
A very nice person has sent us a mini-picture of what is allegedly and possibly the cover of Kate Nash’s muchly-awaited sophomore album My Best Friend Is You. From the looks of it, there has been a lot of professional work poured into the sleeve so it looks bona fide. We love it and we hope to get you the official version very soon in good quality.
Things are heating up over at the Kate Nash camp what with the release of her sophomore offering My Best Friend Is You. We got the first single, the teaser, the video and now the tracklisting. Now, all that’s left is the cover art and the actual CD. Click below to check out the tracklist.
Kate Nash’s first single from My Best Friend Is You is this little ditty by the name of “Do Wah Doo.” The video for it bring back the days when traveling was a luxury and you dressed up for a trip. Now, the policy is “as comfortable as possible without being naked.” Can’t wait for the naked days!
Kate Nash has finalized details for her eagerly-awaited second album. After a little teaser with “I Just Love You More,” which many thought was too punk less nashy, Kate is back to cheeky form with her first single “Do Wah Doo,” which has gotten a tiny video treatment over at her website. Also, the exciting news is that she called the album My Best Friend Is You. The name is very different than Birds, but we love her so much we accept anything… except “I Just Love You More.”
It’s almost done and should probably get a summer release in 2010. However, she’s had a couple other ventures up her proverbial sleeve. She joined a band called The Receeders and played a gig or two with them towards the end of 2009. She has a new boyfried named Ryan Jarman, who is part of the band The Cribs and is more famously known for tripping in awards shows, splattering blood all over and claiming the resurrection of Live Aid was his idea. Anyway, gossip aside, the tracks that have been given a name and are allegedly confirmed “I Hate Seagulls,” “Don’t You Want to Share the Guilt,” “Paris” and “Kiss that Girl.” She is also scheduled to tour with the Lilith Fair crew! Exciting year for Kate Nash.
This is some sexy piece of twitter fodder that will make some pop heads real happy. Not only is Robyn releasing a new album n 2010, which we did not expect what with all her collaborations, but she is also releasing it in the first half of 2010, which means that it’ll be around before the end of June. Imagine? A whole Robyn album along with SiA and Kate Nash in the same year? This would be better than 1993 if Winehouse polishes her act. We can’t wait! Oh, so much dancing!
We really don’t care who Kate Gosselin is. But, Kathy Griffin is a laugh and half and we loves her. Season 5 of Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D-List is fabulously great!
