Ke$ha got a little too high on the success of her one single “Tik Tok” that now she is ditching the legends. Yes, a newly surfaced track titled “Styrofoam” has Ke$ha claiming through her lyric that Britney Spears is not a real artist and that she will disappear in ten years. Yes, the women who changed the face of pop music is suddenly no longer credible enough to Ke$ha. We loved Ke$ha when that video of her covering a Radiohead song came out, but now she’s back in the dumpster (like she always looks). She needs to go back and study pop music and learn who to diss and who not to diss so early in her career. Sad day, she sounds like another one of those singers that survive on the brat demographic like Avril Lavigne.

She’s lost a couple of kilos since then and her taste in music, but she belted a good tune out someday. We are having a very hard time dealing with “Blah Blah Blah,” maybe that’s why, but “Tik Tok” was an anthem.

1By now, we are frankly sick and tired that we have to put a dollar sign every time we want to write about it. We still think she is trying to be grungey and reckless, but she just looks like she has crabs. Don’t you think? Also, look at her expression when the caller mispronounces her name.

1There has been a whole lot of speculation between bloggers in this matter. Everyone is saying that Ke$ha’s debut single “Tik Tok” sounds unfairly similar to Kylie Minogue’s “Love At First Sight.” Some are claiming straight-up plagiarism. We personally don’t hear it at all. Yeah, the are both high-octane pop number with killer choruses, but there isn’t enough resemblance for it to be a copy/paste job. The similarty between Ke$ha and Uffie is there. But, Kylie? We totally did not need to see that. The song was #1 on our chart for the start of this year, but this performance just killed it. The song is still great in studio version, but this looks like the work of a little messy kid. She sounds like she is doing some lousy karaoke. She could be friends with Miley Cyrus.

New phenom Ke$ha, who is holding on to the top spot with her infectious “Tik Tok,” was readying up her debut album’s release for the begining of 2010 to start off her career with the new decade. But, the leaksters got it early and now it’s making the internet rounds so fast that she might not have a great debut, as her biggest fan base are all big time MySpacers and downloaders.
