Beyonce created a movement with the music video for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”, but sources say the singer is ready to retire the dance.
“Beyonce loves the fact the video and the routine have been so huge and has really enjoyed performing Single Ladies live but that’s it now, she’s moving on,” said an unnamed source close to the singer. “She doesn’t want to be part of a long-term joke. That’s not to say she doesn’t get a big kick out of watching other people do it.”
They will never disappear so get used to it. We wonder if Beyonce thought it would have the cultural impact it did when she was doing it. It’s pretty low budget if you think of it. But, it packs a punch.
Yes, it’s true. The soundtrack for the second Sex & The City movie is going to have more surprises that its predecessor. Liza Minnelli is allegedly covering “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” by Beyonce. We don’t know how this will go but we feel it will fall along the lines of Shirley Bassey covering “Get This Party Started” by P!nk. Staying true to the song but with a more burlesque beat and some old-school glamor and passion. Queens heads are popping everywhere!
Oh, the renditions never cease to pop up. This is a great one, though.
In our pursuit to find the ultimate covers we came across this hysterical rendition of “Baby One More Time” by a bunch of giddy old Russian women.
The sensation is sweeping the world over. The other day I saw people doing it in Kababji. No kidding!
I featured him a couple of weeks ago. The bitch made it. She’s on the Bonnie Hunt Show! lol.
