We loved Melanie Fiona when she first came out. In fact, “Monday Morning” is one of our favorite tracks of this decade. But, her sophomore album The MF Life did not rock our boat. It was too MOR R&B as demonstrated by this lackluster ballad. If you are going to release a ballad, make sure its stellar because it won’t stick that easily.  About these ads
