Christina Aguilera cancels tour following leak of album

5

As if the catastrophic premature album leak of her fourth full-length album Bionic wasn’t enough, Christina Aguilera just announced that her long awaited solo World Tour has been cancelled. Not postponed for a couple of months, but tentatively considered for 2011. Wow, this is building up to be a horrible day for Christina Aguilera and her camp. All that’s left now is for her film Burlesque to be turned into a straight-to-video release.

Premiere: Video: “Go Do” by Jónsi

“Jón “Jónsi” Þór Birgisson is the guitarist and vocalist for the Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós. He is known for his use of a cello bow on guitar and his falsetto voice. Jónsi is blind in his right eye. He is also openly gay, and his boyfriend Alex Somers has done much of the graphic design for Sigur Rós.” He is ready to venture into his solo career and this is his first single, which is not that far away from her previous efforts. His solo album is titled Go and will be released April 5, 2010. Excerpt from Wikipedia.

Official album cover for Monica’s “Still Standing”

Good angling and whole lotta light will not fix thing artwork. We hope the frame doesn’t come with the finished product, because that would just be tacky. Still Standing has been in the works for a while now, so it’s about time it good released even if it might not contain one good track like its predecessor with a ghettofabulous sleeve The Makings Of Me. The name of this new album is also the name of her reality show.

She’s taken little ditties that everybody had forgotten and given them the Tori treatment. It’s lovely for the season. Click below to watch and listen to the live tracks from the album.
