Kelis performs “4th Of July” on Jay Leno

This is just a lovely track off of Kelis’s Fleshtone album. We love the entire album and we couldn’t stop listening to it. She really went and reupholstered her career after leaving Nas and having a child. She was heading into oblivion for a minute there and rerouted in dance greatness.

So, it was his final show and everyone wept to a legacy that only some will know. Jay Leno has become the devil incarnate and, in all reality, he became one of those corporate bigwigs that will do anything for money, even lie. It’s a matter of the old guard versus the new kid and the figureheads won. Anyway, we can’t remember the last time we found Jay Leno humorous. We hope Conan will move on to bigger and better things.
