Lily Allen has recently announced a two-year hiatus following her live shows with Dizzie Rascal. The singer insisted on breaking away from pop for a while before returning to release her third album. Joss Stone is one to speak her mind. Lily Allen is too. So, this looks like the feud that will go on and on. Both British mini-divas are at it. Joss started by firing at Allen.
“[Lily] needs to sell records because she’s not a singer, and that’s not an offence to her because I think that she knows that too,” Stone told the Press Association.
Joss said she is “making real music [and] people [will] come to the show” for “artist[s] like Lily … it’s about the track, their personality and their celebrity.”
It’s Not Me, It’s You is still going strong. This video had something to do with the fight Elton John had with Lily Allen on the stage of the GQ Awards last year. The song is great and it samples Take That’s “Shine.”
