Official cover art from Christina Aguilera’s single “You Lost Me”

Christina Aguilera has finalized the decision to release the SiA-penned ballad as her second single in a bid to save her album from completely tanking. If there is one song that is to be salvaged from the mess that is Bionic it’s “You Lost Me.” Not to sure how a ballad will function these days’ charts, but it’s better than anything else she has.

New Christina Aguilera track “You Lost Me” leaks!

This leaked track is a new one off of Bionic and it has SiA written all over it. It’s written by SiA, but it really sounds like a track off of the Some People Have Real Problems sessions. It’s very good and this just raised our hope up for Christina’s new album. Lovely. Click below to listen to it.

Mo’Nique sheds some pounds for her new show

Big, phat and proud Mo’Nique has shed some pounds. 40 to be exact. The diva that has created a brand name for herself with over-weight has gone and betrayed her base. But, in reality, Mo’Nique lost the pounds, which she debuted at the Hoodies, no for “an aesthetic issue” but because of health reasons.

Also, Mo’Nique plans to begin filming her show which will be broadcast on BET sometime in October. And there is an Oscar buzz around her performance in Precious. With the show and the movie, she is on top of her game right now.

Ladyhawke gets fruity

I don’t get why her music is an apple, if she is allergic.

Introducing… Erin McCarley

000-erin_mccarley-love_save_the_empty-2009-frontLove, Save The Empty is Erin McCarley’s debut album and it is a mixture of pompous folk and moody rock. It is like a cross between Sheryl Crow, KT Tunstall and Chantal Kreviazuk. My current favorites are “Blue Suitcase” and “Sticky Sweet.” I watched he perform live on David Letterman and she was great. I am looking forward to listening more.
