Madonna disses Lady Gaga in concert!

So, Madonna’s at it again. Raising controversy to shift more copies of her new album MDNA, which hasn’t even passed the half a million mark in sales since its release more than two months ago. Not that album sales matter to us, but it sure does to her.

Anyway, here the diva keeps beating a dead horse with the notion that Lady Gaga has stolen “Born This Way” from “Express Yourself.” As if that wasn’t enough of a hint of Gaga’s supposed plagiarism, Madonna force feeds the audience a lyric from her song “She’s Not Me” to further confirm her alleged claims.

It’s quite a sad thing to see a 53 year old woman pushing onto the world – especially an established one. Had she based her career on her talents and not this blatant controversy-seeking she would be selling as many record as Ciara now. Yeah, we said it.

Question: What is your all-time favorite Madonna song?

5

We know that we are going to rattle you up with this one. But all we ask of you is to tell us what you think the best track that Madonna released is. We understand that the iconoclast might be a fave and even make you want to create a list of what you like, and that is ok with us. Personally, our favorite Madge tracks are:

  •  ”To Have And Not To Hold”
  • “The Power Of Goodbye”
  • “Bye Bye Baby”
  • “Xstatic Process”
  • “Erotica”

Question: Who are your top female vocalists of all time?

28

This one could rattle some feathers, but its a legitimate question to ask. Whose vocals sets you free and makes you float across the sky, to put it simply. We are talking vocalists here, not divas or female pop icons (If I get a Madonna imma…).

For us, it’s Mariah Carey (of coursies), Whitney Houston, Brandy, Heather Small, Sarah McLachlan, Jill Scott, Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos, Shaznay Lewis, Phyllis Hyman and (maybe) Christina Aguilera.

Madonna on her new fragrance, love and liking her “sandwiches” cut!

Madonna tries to really hard to perform a triple whammy by promoting her fragrance, album and tour all in the same time without giving too much to the media. Also, this “love” thing has got to drop because it, in fact, is more “reductive” than anything in the pop world right now.

Sexy Track: “Turn Up The Radio” by Madonna

It has been a while since Madonna released a bunch of dance-worthy tracks. So, it comes as no surprise that the icon has saved some good ones for us on MDNA. This track, “Turn Up The Radio,” is just that. A bouncy dance tune that doesn’t offer much on the lyrical side to keep it light on the sumptuous melody. Her vocals are suggestive of a good time and it makes us think of the time when Madonna was the queen of all remixes. Although it might not have the capacity to become a single, it can still turn people up at the dance floor.
