KUWAIT CITY : Police have arrested a Kuwaiti woman and her Lebanese lover and referred both of them to the concerned authorities, reports Al-Dar daily. The arrest came following a ‘missing persons’ report filed by the woman’s husband at a local police station. Police investigations showed the woman was living in an apartment in Salmiya. Acting on this information police put the woman under surveillance for some time and discovered the Lebanese man was a frequent visitor to the apartment. Armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, police raided the apartment and caught the lovers red-handed. However, following the arrest the woman reportedly claimed the man was her husband. She also produced a civil marriage contract.

I don’t understand why she was arrested? She left her husband and is in love with someone else. So what? Things like that happen all the time. She was arrested for being in love? Or is it too much for the general public that a woman sought independence and happiness? I had never heard of arrests of a runaway husband before. Why?

Love, Save The Empty is Erin McCarley’s debut album and it is a mixture of pompous folk and moody rock. It is like a cross between Sheryl Crow, KT Tunstall and Chantal Kreviazuk. My current favorites are “Blue Suitcase” and “Sticky Sweet.” I watched he perform live on David Letterman and she was great. I am looking forward to listening more.

Finally, Burberry has released a jacket for all of us skinny boys. It’s time all those fashion designers started lining up the X’s before the S. Am I asking for too much? Kuwait Crime: Man forced to get naked…
3Arab Times: Kuwait Crime: Man photographed naked: Police are looking for four unidentified persons for breaking into an apartment of a Kuwaiti man in Salmiya, reports Al-Dar daily. The men reportedly forced the man to strip naked, took his pictures and escaped from the scene.
How often does this happen? Were these guys looking to blackmail the guy, or they just thought we was really hot? If they want money, they might as well just robbed him. This is fishy.
