“Paris Hilton was arrested in South Africa and questioned overnight on suspicion of possessing marijuana.

Joss Stone recently sat down with Britain’s Star magazine and talked about her relationship with ganja. She basically said she had a spliff or two. Now anti drug group are all up in her George Foreman. Her’s what she said: “I smoke weed, but I don’t think it’s really a drug. It’s more an herb. I don’t regret saying that at all. I think everyone smokes weed and people who say they don’t are lying! Weed has been given this evil stamp, but how is it dangerous? It’s going to make you laugh your a** off? You might go to sleep? I think alcohol is much more harmful.”
We agree with her, but she needn’t vilify the alcohol! Anyway, anyone that is anti-marijuana better chill and sit back. Who in the hell outlaws a plant? It’s a plant! And it’s been around for ages and will not go away. We don’t ever remember ever hearing someone overdosing on the weed. These people should get their facts straight and then enjoy a joint.
Why is what he said so controversial? It’s liberalism 101. He is so guarded, yet so passionate. Yes, legalization of marijuana is a right, yes gay marriage is a human right and yes the right to no religion is a human right. Get over yourselves good-bye and get over it! If you don’t believe in something it doesn’t mean that other people shouldn’t enjoy these rights. Sit down on your couch, do what you feel is right and shut the fuck up.

At first it was just a side joke being thrown by political commentators. Now, it looks like its is gathering some attention. It makes sense, people love the ganja. So, if it’s on the market there will be some sort of surge I am sure. It’s just that the legalization is garnering attention because of the economy and not as an issue of basic civil liberties. Time to legalize marijuana
2 03 2009Are we still fighting over this. It’s about time everyone got over their little conservative panties and legalized it. It’s just a grass, who came up with the idea of outlawing a plant? The whole argument is old and tired and the statistics and scientific research show that a cigarette is more of a harm than the components of marijuana. People are still getting some jail time for a blunt. Get over it, it’s been around for centuries and will stay around no matter how the moral landscape shifts.
