Yes, that is her actual name. She looks stellar and she is following in the footsteps of Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia on the Neighbors train. The music’s good old dance-pop and there is a lot of room for improvement, but it’s still tangy and fun. However, I always find that the artists that make the biggest impressions in pop history are those with formidable debut singles. This isn’t one.

India Arie releases two new singles…

Readying up for the release of the muchly-anticipated Testimony, Vol. 2: Love & Politics, India Arie has released not one but two singles on iTunes. “Chocolate High,” which features Musiq Soulchild or whatever he is calling himself these days and “Therapy.” The album is sounding poppier than I expect and I am a fan of the folkster in India, but I am sure it will be a great offering what with song titles such as “Vagina’s Monologues.” The album comes out 10th of February, 2009.
Obama supports another homophobe…
I don’t know what to make of this. I am excited about an Obama presidency, but this is the second time he does that. I mean, I could use the freedom of opinion card and say it is not representative of Obama, but I know that had it been a racist pastor his name wouldn’t have even been mentioned. This shows that the prop 8 protests weren’t loud enough and his advisors still don’t grasp who his following is. What a shame. Why is religion involved in the inauguration anyway?
