Sexy Track: “Wrap Me ‘Round Your Finger” by Bertine Zetlitz

We picked up Bertine Zetlitz’s Electric Feet merely on the cover artwork of the album. This is usually a good method for random pop greatness. We were right, it carried some solid beats, one of which is this track with an infectious chorus and striking vocal splicing. It’s a bona fide summer hit with everything to carry it well into all dance floors with a strict glam policy and a knack for unheard pop. This is just gorgeous.

Video Premiere: “The Right Thing” by Moby

It seems that Moby is still on his Destroyed promotional binge. As we are huge fans of every other album Moby releases. We never got into the new one fully. We loved Wait For Me though. Still, his work is always up to par. Let’s hope he releases a disco album next. Or one that takes inspiration from disco.

Moby’s album “Destroyed” has leaked!

1

Moby’s last album was one of our favorites of the year, so, naturally, this gets high priority to listen to here. This one is supposed to be his nocturnal side, spanning writing from shady hotel rooms in different corners of the world. This is our kind of thing. Let’s hope it sounds better than the first single. Click here to investigate the leak

Details, official cover art of Moby’s new album “Destroyed” revealed!

Moby is set to unleash his 10th album on us this May. The majority of the recording was done while Moby was touring. He’d stay up in his hotel room because of his insomnia and work on music at times like at 2 in the morning. He said “it seemed as if everyone else in the world is sleeping.” Any music he did not finish he would take back with him to his apartment and finish it there with the range of quarky instruments he owned. His friends Emily Zuzik, Inyang Bassey, and Joy Malcom as well as Moby himself all sang on the record. Musically, Moby summed it up as “broken down melodic electronic music for empty cities at 2 am.” He says the title of the album makes sense when he listens to the music.

Moby slams homophobic group ad!

What Moby had to say on his official website: “Oh, some people have drawn my attention to the fact that a homophobic ad campaign is using ‘Porcelain’. Needless to say we:

a-didn’t approve this
and
b-have contacted them with a very firm ‘cease and desist’ letter.

It goes without saying that I’d never let an anti-gay marriage campaign use my music.

Moby to release remix album of “Wait For Me”

Moby independent success on his highly acclaimed album Wait For Me has yet to spring some fruits upon us. The album’s run is not over yet as Moby’s camp has announced that the album is getting the remix treatment along with an alleged single of “Wait For You,” probably remixed. We can’t wait for it as it will bring on the chill-out moods more with some staccato.
