Free Download: “Ordinary Heart” by Emily King
Emily King amused us with her delicious EP Seven. Every track on that EP touched a very special place in us (lol, let’s see the comments we get on this one). This is a new track not on the EP. It’s called “Ordinary Heart” and it could have fitted on Seven easily.

Alanis Morisette is back with her new single “Guardian” from Havoc And Bright Lights. This sound and feels like the Under Rug Swept era. It’s not bad at all but let’s hope this is just the radio-friendly track release as a buzz for the album. We want more gritty stuff from the diva.

So, a huge chunk of Melody Gardot’s new album is not in English, which doesn’t make us too happy. But the melodies of Melody (Sorry, we couldn’t resist), is up to par. This is another track from the lovely set that is The Absence. It’s an ode to the capital of Portugal, if we assume correctly. Click below to listen to it.

The fifth album (for some reason fifth albums are all leaking today) is more rock than experimental alternative music.

The Gossip’s fifth album A Joyful Noise has leaked all over the internet. The new album was slated for a May 14th release, but somehow made its way online a week before. This probably being downloaded all over the world right now and a few will actually purchase it which is kind of sad because indie bands need support. At any rate, the album is ready for you to hear should you wish to wait or stream it online.

This is quiet different direction for the band. It’s more of a conventional dance route with a rock twist. It’s not what we are used to and we don’t think its quite the right direction for the band known for its glam-rock. It’s too overproduced for the Scissor Sisters, don’t you think?
