Video Premiere: “Fire With Fire” by Scissor Sisters

When the Scissor Sisters first came out there was no one like them. They took 2005 by storm and pushed rock music back to glam. They’re beats were fresh and dance-worthy. Now, we get to settle for this. A song that sounds like a b-side from The Killers last’s album sessions. You’d expect a robust dance anthem, but no. We hope there are great tracks on Night Work, otherwise we are not buying it.

The Scissor Sisters are ready to grace us with their third full-length album Night Work. After a minor sophomore slump with Ta-Dah, the filthy, yet gorgeous band is back with this sleazily appropriate album cover of what looks like Jake Shear’s clenched bum. It’s not always clenched you see, so it’s a special occasion, we mean that as the highest of compliments. Really. Anyway, the album is bound to have some nasty beats and unforgettable taglines.
