Nikki Williams, a 23-year-old singer/songwriter from South Africa, moved to Nashville at the age of 16. One night at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel while standing near the bathroom singing to herself, talent manager/label owner Breyon Prescott (Brandy, Jamie Foxx) walked by and became mesmerized by her soul-stirring, searing voice and signed her on the spot.
