Paloma Faith performs “Upside Down” live on GMTV
All Paloma Faith has to do is up the ante with her songs as she is very visually stimulating, but doing songs that sound like Amy Winehouse rejects, which actually a compliment. It’s just that this genre has been cover by Amy Winehouse, Adele, Duffy and now Paloma. Her album, with the monster titled Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful?, has some great tunes like “New York” and this one, but that’s about it.

Paloma Faith is on her fourth single for Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful? This track is up and sounds a little like something Duffy would do. Again, the visual is titillating as per usual.

2Video: “All You Need Is Love” by Various Artists
This one slipped under the radar, mainly because of the fact that you need star power for it to be full-on. The only people we care for are Heather Small from M People, whom we dearly miss, Paloma Faith, one quarter of The Corrs and, did we see Katie Melua in there somewhere?

Queen Paloma is back with her third single from the debut album. It’s not that far of a stretch from “New York.” But, it’s a scrumptious song to say the least. The album borrows it’s name from this song.
Paloma Faith continues to impress…
We wrote a piece on the lovely Paloma Faith over at our friends’ place SQUA.RE. It’s a piece that is unlike the writing we usually do here, but reminded us of our days as features editor. Click here to read it and comment.
Paloma Faith covers “Sexy Bitch” by David Guetta featuring Akon
Paloma Faith has taken David Guetta and Akon‘s awfully chauvinistic collaboration, “Sexy Bitch,” and turned it into a slow-burning ballad titled “Sexy Minx.” It’s much better now. Download it.
Paloma Faith raises eyebrows…

Paloma Faith’s album Do You The Truth Or Something Beautiful? is not exactly making big waves on radio and the charts but Paloma Faith is working the gig circuit and making a name for herself. Her single “New York” is exactly what the doctor prescribed. A sultry track of longing with strong soul roots.
Haiku Review: “Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful?” by Paloma Faith
Paloma Faith’s “New York” makes waves
Paloma Faith is making a lot of sound with her mini-gig tour around England and this second single is bound to break her into the pop world. “New York” is a midtempo number that sings like a ballad about a lover who flees to another city. of course, her soulful beats and unique voice make it all the much better. Her debut album Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful? is coming out on September 28, 2009.
Paloma Faith graces the stage, impresses the world
Wow. This is the first time I notice her voice. She really has a lot going for her. This song is a gem and the two others I’ve heard from Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful? are all good. It must’ve been a fun show.

1One of our favorite upcoming artists of the year has already released her second video. It’s called “New York” and even though it’s not as strong as the lead single, it will fair well. The third single has to be great, though. The album Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful? is set for a September 28th release.
Paloma Faith to take over the world
1We introduced her back in April with this eyeful of a video which we called “all kinds of wonderful.” Now, she is readying up her album and what a visual treat the cover is. You know how we are suckers for artwork and sleeves and this is just one of the best of the year, if not the best. Moreover the title Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful is just spectacular. We can tell that Ms. Faith is the whole package. Her debut song “Stone Cold Sober,” which available now, sounds fresh and great. Mixing elements of Rock with sure-fire pop and a big pinch of attitude. Keep an eye out for Paloma Faith.
