This track is just a testament to the fact that sometimes Jill Scott can turn a suite into a right romp with great detail to sensuality. This is the kind of track that can turn a small live bar a lit or can turn the bedroom scenario upside down. “Le Boom Vent Suite” is what we have come to expect from Jill Scott, slow-mo, poetic lyrics and an overtly-sexualized atmosphere. What can we say about Jill Scott that hasn’t been said before. She brings it back to the basics of love and true emotion. On this track, she turns a relationship in its prime into an ode for love’s surrender so effortlessly and smoothly. Her vocals merge with the melody perfectly. She is probably the only artist alive today that can go into spoken word in the middle of a song and sound so hot. This track chantes on the line between sex and love. It’s definitely one of the best tracks of 2011.
