Details on Kylie Minogue’s “Aphrodite”

Our friends over at PopJustic have had the privilege and the chance of listening to some tracks off of Kylie Minogue’s highly anticipated 11th album Aphrodite. Here are the highlights: There are no ballads whatsoever, the standout track is the one the album is titled after, the first single “All The Lovers” is return-to-form big Kylie dance track, the best tracks of the recording sessions in on the album and it’s going to be a continuous mix. We don’t know about the last one, but we love the other details as this summer needs to be danceable. Click here to read all of it.

Kylie Minogue back in the studio with Stuart Price

Kylie Minogue has recently announced that she is working on a new full-length studio album apart from her project Live In New York. On this disc, she is working with Stuart Price who, basically, did Madonna’s album Confessions On The Dance Floor. The collaboration is in full affect and the two are working on something great, apparently. A little dance can go a long way.

Thom Yorke quirky, Lily Allen unimpressed…

Lily Allen always has something to say. In Rainbows was a breakthrough project, and Radiohead were not trying to set precedents for other artists, they were just fighting the machine that fattened them for years only to dig their teeth in. The artist should pick the price on their music, not the record companies’ agreed fixed rate.
