To compare anything to Michael Jackson’s Thriller is just a recipe for disaster. This new album that Rihanna is rushing out this year allegedly will have it-producer of the moment David Guetta at the buttons and will, apparently, have Thriller as its bar. Let’s see what comes out of it. See what people working on it have to say about it below.
Christina Aguilera has one of the strongest voices of our era. No doubt about it. As much as we love her, we thought that the greatest hits collection was premature and Back To Basics, though it had some solid gems, had too much fluff. Still, we don’t doubt for one second her ability to deliver unlike any of her generation. If you ask us who won the Mickey Mouse Club race to the top, we’d say Christina.
Still, ever since Stripped, which is one of the greatest pop album on this green earth, we haven’t seen much of a cultural impact, let alone a single that stood up by itself. But, it’s looking like Xtina is about to rectify that with the impressive list of producers she has on the Light & Darkness bandwagon. Click below for it.
When the news broke out that Cheryl Cole is going to do a solo album it was both exciting and worrying a little bit. By all means, Cheryl is not my favorite. I think she has the worst voice out of all of them and she is the only one that sounds like she doesn’t like the Girls Aloud genre. She is more into hip hop and R&B and it shows from her dancing to her song choices. Plus, the only thing we have seen from her solo sphere is that utterly abhorrent collaboration with Will.I.Am.
