Allegedly, British soulstress Duffy is unhappy with the music industry and would rather have a country life with her boyfriend to start a family. Some sources say that she is very unhappy with the public reception of Endlessly and is giving up on music all together. Let’s hope that’s not true. Just when we started liking her!
Natalie Imbruglia, one of the greatest Australian singer-songwriters has hinted at quitting music for good. This news saddens us very much, in fact it ruined our entire days as we rummage through Natalie Imbruglia’s impressive catalogue. The Herald Sun explains:
“POP star Natalie Imbruglia says she may quit her singing career.
After her last album flopped, peaking at number 67 on the ARIA music charts, Imbruglia is taking time to re-evaluate life, saying you need the hide of a rhinoceros to work in the music industry, The Sunday Telegraph reported.
Lily Allen is really quitting music for a while to pursue a career in fashion. And not any fashion, like doing a line for H&M, but she is venturing into the world of vintage clothing and accessories. The project is tentatively titled “Lucy In Disguise.” Click here to read more.
Kid Cudi wants to quit music and become a full-fledged actor. We don’t know if that’s the ganja speaking. But, don’t worry, he says he still has a couple of album under his sleeve.
Big-mouth Bostonian rockstar Steven Tyler (father of Liv) has unexpectedly quit his band Aerosmith. The band, which is credited to be one of the longest living bands still together, have reportedly not heard from Steven in a while and he refused to get in touch with them. No word yet on if its a hiatus of an indefinite split.

Many think that the sudden slowing-down of public appearances meant that some sort of girl band break up happened. And this is really bad news coming in the time of the Girls Aloud abrupt hiatus. But, Frankie was always the best one and in this last performance on T4 she doesn’t even look like her. Is that a wig? Or is that a new girl?
