In a desperate bid to beat out the fierce competition between Rihanna’s Rated R, Lady GaGa’s The Fame Monster and Britney Spears’ Singles Collection, the record label has gone to new lengths. Rihanna’s highly anticipated and critically-medoicre Rated R is being sold as a download from less than a dollar. Yes, the whole album. To tell you the truth, it’s not even worth that much. It’s a really bad album in comparison to Good Girl Gone Bad.

Rihanna’s muchly-awaited Rated R is finally making the blog rounds. The album, which has had a bunch of lackluster singles leaks, is here in its retail entirety. The jury is out on whether this will be better than the single-packed Good Girl Gone Bad or not. Click here for more information.

1The song is really not that cute at all for her. She could do so much better and she should have big uptempo number for the first single. it sounds even worse than “Take A Bow.” She looks ferocious in the video, but that doesn’t mean she should be release this lackluster number. Rated R better have some pumpin’ tunes.

The official cover for Rihanna’s muchly-anticipated new album Rated R is here. This is how it looks. She’s opting for the black and white mysticism with a little Grace Jones thrown in. This looks like it is taken from her Vogue Italia sessions. It turns out that the first single from the album is “Russian Roulette.” Also “The Wait Is Ova” is rumored to be the second single, although we don’t like it much.
Amerie comes back around
Amerie is back to promote her latest and 4th album to date In Love & War. Now, I have always thought that Amerie is one of the pop divas that never got enough cred for churning out a bunch of sexy numbers. The whole debacle of release of the previous album really left some hits astray that could have made a career. Still, she is coming back fierce as ever with this new effort and a new single named “Why R U,” I have yet to hear. The release is slated for late July.
