Another one of those compilations that you can’t get enough of. This one has become so successful that it’s in its third year running. The concept is simple, it’s a covers mix with songs that we loved and still love after many revamps. So, if you haven’t checked out the first one and second one, you could start from here to see what it’s all about. Mellow, chill renditions that will leave you wanting to make sweet sweet love, or something like that. If you can’t understand the idea of making sweet love, this is not for you.

Rihanna’s next single will be “Cheers (Drink To That)”
1Rihanna is showing no signs of stopping with her LOUD campaign. She is already on her sixth single and is looking to repackage the album to include more tracks and, maybe, more singles. The new single is the epitome of Friday-ness. It’s “Cheers (Drink To That).” A lovely track that was screaming to be a single and get a video featuring a drunken house party, a la Ke$ha.
Don’t Quote Me, Vol. 554

“I’m not religious at all. I think faith is something that gives you strength. I believe in fate and I believe that things happen for a reason but I don’t think that there’s a high power, necessarily. I believe in karma very much though. There are so many rude people around and they’re the people that don’t have any real friends. And relationships with people – with your mum, your nan, your dog – are what you get the most happiness in life from. Apart from shoes and bags. “

Video Premiere: “When We Were Young” by Take That
1The last album of Take That’s hasn’t been on our playlist and we are not sure we downloaded it or not. We should as we are fans of the band, but the last few singles weren’t up our ally. At any rate, this is the new video for their single “When We Were Young.”
Exclusive: 5 Questions With Loft965.com: Lenka
11. Greetings from Kuwait! Loft965.com picked your song “End Of The World” as a “Sexy Track” of 2011. How do you feel about that and what’s the inspiration behind the song?
Awesome thanks! That song is a romantic fantasy, but also expresses my fears about “armageddon” and the world changing and falling apart… I thought if i put it into a song, maybe it’ll all be alright!
2. We love “Heart Skips A Beat.” What will be your next single?
Not sure yet, maybe “Two?” Each territory might choose a different 2nd single!
3. Your first solo single “The Show” was featured heavily from everything to shampoo ads to TV shows to the soundtrack of the movie Easy A. How do you feel about that and were you expecting this kind of reception when you put the song out?
I wasn’t expecting it, but i definitely welcomed it! Especially the film placements. I get really excited when my songs are used creatively, and i’m very grateful for the new listeners it creates…
4. Your new album, the aptly-titled Two, is already out. How would you describe it and who were you influences during the recording process?
There aren’t really any direct influences, only that i wanted to make an upbeat, danceable LOVE record that is pop, but not too pop. I worked with Guy Sigsworth, who was a long-time Bjork collaborator, and I think her early albums have always been a strong influence for me. I love that spirited, celebratory energy.
5. We love quotes, what is your favorite quote or motto?
“Every dark cloud has a silver lining.”

Sexy Track: “Night Air” by Jamie Woon
Lesser-hyped newcomer, artist Jamie Woon, is not up to make a bold statement for his debut, but one that is placid, yet with an impact. This track is reminiscent of times in mood music when the ethereal had meaning and was wanted. It feels like a beautiful marriage between Radiohead’s “Creep” and Madonna’s “To Have Not To Hold.” Dim yet layers with many delicious elements that will keep you coming back for more. Moreover, the vocals are on point all along. Click here to listen to it.
Video Premiere: “Love Love” by Amy MacDonald
1We really haven’t given Amy MacDonald‘s sophomore album a good spin, but the singles are up to par. This is the fourth single, yes fourth. It’s called “Love Love” and is right up her ally.
Nadine Coyle reveals album details, track listing!
2Nadine Coyle is our favorite Girl Aloud and in our head we’d like to think that this album is a marriage between Ray Of Light and Butterfly, but we have to be realistic. Still, we have very high hopes for her and we hope she beats Cheryl Cole out of the field. The album’s titled Insatiable. It’s dropping on November 8th of this year and the lead single will be the album title song. Click below for the tracklisting. Unlike Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle co-wrote every single track on the album.

This little poem here that Anya, my friend referred me to, just had my glued to the screen. What a powerful little piece of poetry!
Ladyhawke gets fruity
I don’t get why her music is an apple, if she is allergic.
Introducing… Erin McCarley
Love, Save The Empty is Erin McCarley’s debut album and it is a mixture of pompous folk and moody rock. It is like a cross between Sheryl Crow, KT Tunstall and Chantal Kreviazuk. My current favorites are “Blue Suitcase” and “Sticky Sweet.” I watched he perform live on David Letterman and she was great. I am looking forward to listening more.
