3Jamiroquai to release new album “Rock, Dust, Light, Star”
1The pioneers for Acid Jazz are back after a five year hiatus that left us all bitter. Jamiroquai are about to return with a new album slated for a release later this year. It’s called Rock, Dust, Light, Star and is supposed to bring back their soulful beats to the forefront of pop. “According to the group’s website, they will be releasing a new album, Rock, Dust, Light, Star, in November 2010 on Mercury Records. While the group can be considered a major influencer in ushering in the current popularity of dance/electro funk music, the group promises a new sound. “Everything on the record is live. It’s a real band record. The last, album–fantastic–but the whole thing became a little sterile. This time we’ve captured the flow of our live performances,” Jay Kay says.” – SoulBounce

2Always our favorite Backstreet Boys and now he went solo. He was always the real eye candy other than Kevin. Who was all face and no grace. At any rate, this is quite a nice attempt. Let’s hope it succeeds.
Video Premiere: “Imma Be / Rock That Body” by Black Eyed Peas
The Black Eyed Peas are looking and sounding like they are going the charts again with this double slammer of a video featuring their two next singles “Imma Be” and “Rock That Body” fused together on one video. Yes, the two tracks will be featured in one video that lasts 10 minutes plus. Move to it now or you will find yourself tapping your foot in the club.
New video of Black Eyed Peas’ “Rock That Body”
We thought the next single was “Imma Be,” but it looks like the video is being made for “Rock That Body” and Fergie has been replaced by Sarah Palin. It could be a double A-side, or the record company has decided not to make a video for “Imma Be” since it’s already in the top five without the extra spending. At any rate, what’s a single anymore?
