Goldfrapp’s highly-anticipated return-to-form of an album Head First has taken the leak. Yes, the album is now out all over the internet. Maybe a sad day for Goldfrapp, or maybe the start of a new area. But, the album that contains the lead single “Rocket” has been probably one of the most waited-on album of the new decade as of now. 1The album’s a-buzzing. Everyone is waiting to have a listen. Head First is supposed to be a return to form. By that, we mean she ditched folktornica for lush synth dance. But, if “Rocket” is anything to go by, the new album is nothing to look forward to. Yet, we are sure there is a gem or two.

Goldfrapp’s first video from the highly-anticipated new album Head First has surfaced and its all kinds of bubbleglam. “‘Rocket’ is a synthpop song performed by British duo Goldfrapp. The song was written and produced by Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory for the duo’s fifth album Head First. It will be released as the album’s first single on 8 March 2010. There was a music video shot to accompany the song. Goldfrapp readies up new album “Head First”

Goldfrapp are set to debut their first single off of their new album Head First. “Rocket” is a return to form, but still a different direction. It’s less experimental dance and more club ready. The artwork’s a bit La Roux, though. Click below to listen to the track. (Thanks Jorge for the heads up).

We are super excited about the original Lady GaGa’s new album. Goldfrapp might not have concentrated on the artwork too much (it looks too Little Boots for our taste), but we are sure the content will be a return to form. Let’s hope “Rocket” makes the download rounds real soon.
Goldfrapp hides under pseudonym Sylvie Nylon

Goldfrapp’s truimphant return is here and she is pulling all the stops to promote it. The singer is putting out some tracks under the name Sylvie Nylon to test out the waters. On last.fm’s website that name is listed with three tracks that should be on Head First. The tracks are “Rocket,” “Dreaming,” “Alive” and “Believer.” Test them out yourself here.
Robot designed to plant in Mars
This robot is designed to raise plants in Mars. Yes, vegetation is going the get there before us. What’s with the scary side-eye? For light? It can move around in downtown Mars. You know, in case Martians have a craving for arugula.
