Toni Braxton live at Soundcheck

Toni Braxton is determined to make 2010 her year and reclaim her throne after a long hiatus. It was too early for her to do Vegas and now she needs to get back to making some good tunes and a divorce album, which are always good.  This is her readying up for a promo tour to help get the word out on her highly anticipated next album Pulse. Still, we don’t know how she’ll manage to put out new material with all the leaked tracks.

Ke$ha debuts at #1 on iTunes with “Tik Tok”

Who would have thought that a little-known MySpace artist who had a small part of a Flo Rida song would debut on #1 on the iTunes chart for songs. Yes, Ke$ha has broken through with her single “Tik Tok,” which has reached #1 in Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Currently, it’s at #3 in the US and #5 in the UK. We are not expecting a GaGa rise to fame, but 2010 might be her year. The songs we are listening to now “Blah Blah Blah” and “Kiss And Tell” are both too noisy for our liking. But, they are just teasers. So, there might be something else on her debut album Animal, which will drop on January 5th, 2010.

Janet Jackson flash-mobbed in Los Angeles

1

Janet Jackson is in Los Angeles to rehearse for her 8-minute performance during the American Music Awards. While she was out and about a bunch of dancers surprised her by flash-mobbing some of her greatest hits including “Miss You Much,” “Rhythm Nation” and “If.” She was in the balcony and greeted the fans at the end. We have to say that this is our greatest flash mobbing ever.

TLC reunite for Justin Timberlake concert

TLC (T-Boz and Chilli) have reunited for a hot minute after a 7-year gap to perform at Justin Timberlake’s concert in Las Vegas. The twosome came out in full force to sing some of their biggest numbers including “No Scrubs,” “Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg” and “What About Your Friends?” There are no rumors of a reunion, but the two did it as a favor for Justin Timberlake. The show, benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children, also featured sets from Alicia Keys, Ciara, Snoop Dogg, Taylor Swift, Jay Sean, and Timbaland.
