Fiona Apple’s fourth album is already recorded!

News is in that Fiona Apple’s eagerly-awaited fourth album has been recorded, but it seems she might be having some issues with the label again, allegedly. In a recent live show she said that, apparently, she doesn’t remember any of her new songs because she has recorded them a while ago. Michelle Branch also bragged about hearing some of the tracks on twitter. Check her tweet below.  Let’s hope it comes out soon as we are missing some Fiona goodness!

The Gaga camp has allegedly just announced that the video for the third single from The Fame Monster, “Alejandro,” will début to the world on May 25th, 2010. That’s next Tuesday. We still think the song sounds like Ace Of Base’s remake of “Don’t Turn Around.” But, as with Gaga, the video will be fabulous and it stars Mr. Walliams of Little Britain fame. Also, Lady Gaga is showing some nipple action and frolicking with a snake. A two-eyed one. Let’s hope for the bestest!

Sade to release new album “Soldier Of Love” soon!

If anyone takes huge hiatuses, it would be Sade. She migrates somewhere and gets high for a while and then decides that it’s time for some more ganja, so she slaves to the studio. But, every time she gets there some magic happens. An epoch of chill-out music, if you may. Now, she has decided to come back and give us some more smooth grooves just in time for Valentine’s Day. On February 8th, 2010 Sade is set to release her new album Soldier Of Love, let’s just hope that a new single comes out soon.

Don’t get your panties up in a bunch, it’s just an animated video for one of the best songs of Circus. There’s no excuse for it. When she did the animated video for “Break The Ice” we understood because she was going through rehab. Now, why this? I mean a live version with some graphics, in the Madonna manner of “Miles Away” and “Get Together,” would have been better than this Bratz looking fiasco! For such a fun and happening song she should have done something elaborate and dancey, but something tells me Britney just wants to release as many songs as possible to fill a singles compilation coming out soon.

Just when you thought the gentle gods of chill out have taken a long “unbend and unwind” they all gush out with new material. First, it was Royskopp. Then, Moby releases one of the best efforts of the year. Now, both Zero 7 and Air announce that they are releasing full lengthers this year. Air are also giving out a free track titled “Do They Joy,” which is obviously not that single because it’s really not that exciting. Sounds like an off-shoot from 10,000 Hz Legend that never made it onto Everybody Hertz. But, it’s just a buzz builder and I am sure there is sexier stuff on Love 2. Not quite sure if this is the album cover, it’s OK. Excited for all this new material. In fact, this is the third most anticipated release for me this year. Mariah, Whitney then Air. Then Zero 7. Unless Fiona Apple releases something, they will all go down one number.

Another Mariah post, but when it rains it pours. There’s just so much news about Mariah what with the new album and tour and now acting career. Mariah is planning on taking the West End of London sometime soon. She’s getting paid a not so hefty price for it – $15,000, which is bad for a singer that gets a million for a concert date. But, this will be a good ground for her to start upon. With her movies Tennessee and Precious coming out soon. Her world tour and her album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel. I know I am heading to LHR for it.

Paris Hilton to do show in Dubai

She talked briefly about it on The Ellen Show, but it turns out that it’s true. She is actually doing a BFF show in Dubai. She did the US twice and the UK once. But, she hasn’t gotten enough U’s, so she is doing the UAE. The show will follow the same format, but a little bit more discreet. The elaboration on that is not made available, but I am guessing she won’t be veiled. No word yet, on what or where the contestants are going to be / from. cherylcoleWhen the news broke out that Cheryl Cole is going to do a solo album it was both exciting and worrying a little bit. By all means, Cheryl is not my favorite. I think she has the worst voice out of all of them and she is the only one that sounds like she doesn’t like the Girls Aloud genre. She is more into hip hop and R&B and it shows from her dancing to her song choices. Plus, the only thing we have seen from her solo sphere is that utterly abhorrent collaboration with Will.I.Am.

Jewel to release “lullaby” album, further alienating her fanbase

Ever since the debut of her debut album, Pieces Of You, and her second, Spirit, she has been taking each and every turn to alienate her original fans. First, it was her third album, This Way, which suffered from too much twang and bad single choices.

Then, she went into her sudden electronic phase with O3O4, which was very badly-received especially by her demographic. Then, as if the hiatus between each album wasn’t enough, Jewel delivers a measly set of songs on Goodbye Alice In Wonderland which sounded like left-over tracks from This Way.

Madonna to divorce…

According to The Sun and Perezhilton.com, Madonna is set to make public her divorce anytime soon. I know this is the hundredth time we have heard this, but I can’t wait for it to happen. He’s a dead weight on her and has changed her alot. I prefer the old and slutty Madonna that everyone came to love. She’s Madonna, she’s not made to lead a life of normalcy and socially-created institutions like marriage, especially not with this underhanded homophobe. I mean really anyone that uses that word “twee” has no business marrying Madonna.
