Sophie Ellis-Bextor is back. But, hold your horses, she’s doing the same shiz she’s been doing forever. This single sounds like the out-cuts of her collaboration with Freemasons “Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer).” It’s really not that fabulous. The album is called Straight To The Heart. Let’s hope it has some gems on it.

Following her stint with the Freemasons, Former Groovejet vocalist Sophie-Ellis Bextor is ready to get back to music with her first single announced on twitter titled “Bittersweet,” which will be sent to radios (and leaked probably) sometime in February and then officially released April. The video’s being filmed in Moscow. The song’s about having a guilty pleasure, like playing FishVille.

Our favorite hyphenated disco diva (other than Olivia Newton-John, of course) is bound to bring the beat back with her comeback. She is one of the artists the peaks with the debut single (in her case the collaboration with Spiller) and then everything is downhill from there, even though there are some recoverable gems along the way.
