Spice Girls win best performance award at Brits

The Spice Girls legacy is so great that after a decade of separation, they still keep winning awards. The Brits presented them, this night, with an award for most memorable performance on the Brit Awards stage for their monumental and historical goose-bump raising live performance of “Wannabe,” which segues into “Who Do You Think You Are?” An act that ushered in the resurgence of pop. Being in the Spice Girls turned out to be more of a curse and blessing to Melanie C’s solo career. The Sporty one is responsible for penning some great pop songs in our time, but she never got the credit she deserves because of her spicy past. This track is from her debut album of the same name and is pure bliss.
Victoria Beckham to design luxury hotel in Dubai

The rumors out are that some UAE official has allegedly asked Victoria Beckham (a.k.a. Posh Spice) to design a hotel on an island dedicated to fashion in the man-made archipelago The World. The fashion island is called Isla Moda. It is rumored that Karl Lagerfeld will be working with Posh on this project.

The Spice Girls might reunite very soon to go on another world tour. Short on cash? Maybe, but Geri Halliwell is really into bringing the band together and Melanie B and C jumped on the bandwagon. Emma Bunton took a little goading but she caved in. So, now we have the four spices. Geri Halliwell said once that a can driver told her that it doesn’t have to be all of you, to be the Spice Girls. She learned that the hard way with Forever.
Mel B to re-create the Spice Girls
VH-1 is allegedly in talks with Melanie Brown (aka, Scary Spice, Mel B, Eddie Murphy’s baby mama) to start a reality show which will aim to create the world’s next great girl band. Other than the fact that this label already goes to the Saturdays (only after Girls Aloud), it’s completely laughable that Melanie B thinks that she can actually come close to creating the next Spice Girls. Whatever happened to her 3rd album Reimagined. She is doing everything but music these days. I wonder what the other girls think of this.

it’s a baby girl and now, officially, the spice girls are all mamas. Mama, I love you. It was fast, but I am excited as I read somewhere that she’s been writing a lot. So, the album must be just waiting for the studio laying.

” I never looked better, now you can, too,” is what it says on the cover. I didn’t see this one coming. One minute she sells 604 copies of her last album in the UK, the next she is all over the place. Could be Eddie Murphy or the Spice reunion or Dancing With The Stars. I don’t know why she did this. I wonder how much she makes from such a video. She’s looking good, though.
Music DVD: Live At Wembley – The Spice Girls
Watched it last night and the night before. It’s there worst performance really. But, worst for the Spice Girls is still good. The set-up was nothing special but the songs carried the whole show. Still, it’s not the same without Geri Halliwell. The extras are worthless. It’s fun for a background visual. That’s it, really.
Mýa and everything nice…
Did some reading up on Mýa and her return. It turns out she’s been dropped from Motown Records and is releasing the new album on Manhattan Records. Sugar & Spice is slated for release only digitally and only in Japan, which means it might not see a physical release.
