It seems that the cheeky Robyn has played the trick on all of us. Instead of releasing the promised 3rd installation of the album series previously titled Body Talk PT3, she has put all the tracks from this venture onto one record and simply named it Body Talk. We were excited for the extra tracks but also think that this is much neater on our iPod. Click below for the complete track listing.
Robyn’s second addition to her trilogy, Body Talk PT2, blows Body Talk PT1 out of the water. We love almost every track on the new album and our favorites are “Hang With Me (Dance Mix),” “Criminal Intent,” “Love Kills” and “U Should Know Better” featuring Snoop Dogg. This year is Robyn, Kelis and SiA’s year!
We knew this song had something about it but the acoustic was too stripped, but this sonic boost changes everything. Looking forward to Body Talk PT2.
Exciting. We are looking forward to the second installment in the trilogy! Click below for the track list.
“Robyn promised us three new albums this year, and it looks like she really might come through. After last month’s brilliant Body Talk Pt. 1, her next release– appropriately titled Body Talk Pt. 2– is due September 6 in the UK onKonichiwa/Island.” – Pitchfork.
What is so good about Robyn’s songs is that the sound really good stripped or hyped up. This is lovely and starkly quaint.
“One of my favourite videos ever is ‘Express Yourself’ by Madonna which came across as really strong and empowering which I always try to incorporate through my expression of sexuality. I love the direct reference I made to Madonna with the eye glass moment and the smoke and stairs. I was paying tribute to a very strong woman who has paved the way before.”
The visuals along with the music for Kelis’s new album and singles are ravishing. Her fashions, not so much. Ever song from Fleshtone could be released as a single but this one is a highlight, so we are glad she chose that. She needs to get the props she deserves for this effort. This is the official cover.

Okay, so this is special news. Not many a-time does a song come and grab you from your shirt this fast and this strongly. So, this song from one of our all time pop faves Robyn is going to be on her album Body Talk Pt.1. It is also a great return to form! It’s new and fresh and although most blogs say that it is the continuation of “With Every Heartbeat,” but we think it’s really “Be Mine” part 2. Both lyrically and sonically. Pure bliss!
The first single off of Robyn’s Body Talk (the first installation in the three album set) is “Fembots,” we featured it a while back and didn’t think it’s that great. But, the lyrics are direct and the beat is catchy but it doesn’t satisfy our thirst for Robyn, but with 3 albums along the way, she can do as she pleases!
Finally, we get some good news from one of the brightest shinning pop damsels in the world. The cover can be considered mediocre if thought to be put together digitally, but it’s actually all analog. The artwork is placed by hand. Robyn and some graphic artists put it together as seen in her recent documentary. Yes, that octopus in the “y” is real. We can’t wait to hear it as we love everything from Robyn. Click below for the tracklis.
Robyn has wasabi running around in her brain, or at least that’s what she says in her new website. The album’s ready to drop, so we get to listen to have a soundbite of a new track on the official website and we also get new promo pics and a blog! Check it out here. The new album’s rumored to be called Body Talk.
