This new technology makes your average coffee cup grow a sleeve whenever something hot is poured into it so you don’t get burnt. Apparently, it’s non-toxic, biodegradable, FDA-approved and can be recycled. That’s some fascinating stuff isn’t it? Click here for more info.

Who gives a flying…
Oh, the good days of college when “who gives a flying fuck” always finished a sentence out nicely. Now, you can actually buy a flying fuck at an online store and play with it all you want. What the feel in a flying fuck, anyway, and why did it have so much weight? I can’t even tell if it makes sense figuratively.

I don’t know why I have such a fascination with USBs. The flexible limbs are a bunch of fun and this is the best way to remember to put the cap back on, does anyone have the original caps of their USB? Didn’t think so.

2Snow in Kuwait…
2As we see the rain showers escalate in Kuwait, the weather takes a sharp turn to cold. I have to say that that is the fastest switch to winter I have experienced here in the desert. I heard of reports last year that the Northern Saudi desert got a thin coating of snow.
What a great time to listen to Anggun’s “Snow On The Sahara.”
I keep wondering if this will ever reach Kuwait. I have experienced hard hailing here, but never snowflakes. And as we near the next Ice Age because of the affects of global warming, it is not as unlikely to see snowfall as it used to be. It’s not like it will happen now, but it’s not far-fetched. According to wikipedia: “planar crystals (thin and flat) grow in air between 0 °C (32 °F) and −3 °C (27 °F),” which are not unfathomable numbers. So, we might see it.

Pop vending machines by sony…
Sony is releasing these vending machines that will have DVDs, CDs, USBs and pretty much everything that has been acronymized. This is set to hit the UK this winter and I wonder what kind of stuff they will stock. I feel like its all going to be like Snakes On Planes DVDs and Coldplay CDs. Anyway, its an exciting feature.

4SMS: Future texting…

Some tech guy discovered a new, fast and efficient way of texting for when we all have touchscreens and abandon the neolithic button. It’s called Swype. Basically this swipe above would form the word “quick,” I think. In any case, it’s fetch and it could totally change the way we look at texting and re-introduce the keyboard. Read on.

2Tech: Sexy, Eco-friendly Portability
Everyone is trying to be eco-friendly. Everyone wants to be green.
I don’t know how being extra sleek and super portable will help.
But this gadget is so Muji, it’s not Muji.
So Scandinivian minimalist, it’s Chinese pragmatist.
So light (7 grams), it’s Flockhartian.
