Video Premiere: “Next To Me” by Emeli Sande

This could go down as one of the best songs of 2012 and its only January! This is from the album Our Version Of Events, which debuts in February, is set to get a great boost of sales after the singer appeared on an episode of The Graham Norton Show which Madonna was on, too.

Video Premiere: “Painted Love” by Air

1

The uploader has made this video not available in my country because apparently they are so eager to break the Kuwaiti market when they get to it, or they just lump up everyone not from where they are or not a huge market for western music like the US and the UK. Nonetheless, we love the band, so we want to give the chance to some of our international readers to see it. Tell us how it goes.

Video Premiere: “Pump With Me” by Sahara Davenport

1

This is probably one of the best (in comparison) tracks to come out of RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants, but the video is so camp without trying to be – it’s a little painful. Also, Sahara Davenoport looks much older. We expected a little Manila Luzon cameo appearance.

Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber to duet on christmas song!

3

Mariah Carey maybe the queen of the season, but here she is the queen of everything. Rumor is out that Mariah Carey is going to duet with teeny-bopper Justin Bieber on yet another christmas song. As if that wasn’t enough seasonal material from Mariah. We don’t see how this duet can go, but even her duet with Tony Bennett has a feeling of Yuletide. But, wait, we smell another number one and that makes us mucho happy!

Video Premiere: “Ouch (Demons Never Die Mix)” by Dionne Bromfield

1

The original version of this song had better get a video and a release date or we’ve lost all faith in good pop music. The original is so stellar that it’s hard for me to digest this one or the video for it. I imagined the  other one to be a faux-live throwback TV performance reminiscent of the mid-60′s Motown performances but with color! This makes us a little sad, to see that this version settled for the version that makes the single. Please say it isn’t so!

Video Premiere: “When We Were Young” by Take That

1

The last album of Take That’s hasn’t been on our playlist and we are not sure we downloaded it or not. We should as we are fans of the band, but the last few singles weren’t up our ally. At any rate, this is the new video for their single “When We Were Young.”

Video Premiere: “Two” by Lenka

1

The second single from Lenka’s second album is aptly titled “Two.” As she told us in her interview with us, this was a prospective single. We like it, but we think there are stronger tracks on the album like “Shock Me Into Love” and “End Of The World.” Still, there’s enough time for all to be released.  Continue reading

Video Premiere: “I Wanna Go” by Britney Spears

2

3rd single from Femme Fatale is out. Britney Spears needs to step off the “woe-is-me” pedestal and concentrate on developing strong and unforgettable videos. This is just another one of her celebrity-is-an-illusion videos. And those random questions are taken straight from the movie In And Out.
