This song escaped us as Robyn’s management and/or record company were not promoting her right. But, years later Beverley Knight brought this track to our attention and it changed out 2005. Lovely, simple, soulful and upfront.

Nelly Furtado is back to doing some English songs after a stint at Spanish music with Mi Plan. This new song is so good that it almost makes us forget that Nelly Furtado sold her soul to the devil for Loose. It’s upbeat yet yearning. It’s a very well-arranged song. As the world stays wide alert about this epidemic that is responsible for killing 50 a century ago and hopes it will not turn into a pandemic, the non-sensical conservatives are at it again. On one side the American conservatives are touting stricter border control regulations and a crackdown on immigration to curb this epidemic which has allegedly spread from Mexico. One the other, the islamist fundamentalists, beardists, fanatics or whatever you want to call them these days, are glorifying it as some sign from the heavens that pork is all kinds of evil.
Earth day came and went. What are people to celebrated. The dilapidated state of this bubble we live in? It’s not that important. Humans have always depended on this planet to sustain their living without even considering the outcome. So, now it’s culturally intrinsic for humans to exploit the earth and its good. It’s culturally unacceptable for a married couple to get married with having children. Like it’s a prerequisite to a complete life. Just like David Attenborough claimed, the biggest issue we have at hand right now is over population. It seems like every couple with a vagina and penis seem hard pressed to make more babies, like it was there biological right.
The tour dates have been announced and it seems that Michael will be in London the entirity of July. This Is It is the event not to miss this year (the event to miss this year: Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet extension). I am mucho excited about this and will do everything to go see him. I went to his last tour (HIStory) and it was just spectacular. And if this is really the farewell tour, I wouldn’t miss it for the world. There’s a lot of talk about how he couldn’t do what we formerly was capable of. Well, If MJ was on a wheelchair and on a yodeling tour, I’d still go to see it. The tour dates after the jump:
